TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Police have identified the man whose body was found near the intersection of 11th and College Tuesday morning. He was seen lying on the ground between a vehicle and the curb.
The man, identified as 37 year old Shawn Pate of Yuma, Arizona, was reportedly found around 8:15 a.m.
Topeka Police Department Public Relations Specialist Kristen Veverka said detectives do not believe the death is suspicious, but they are waiting for the coroner to make a ruling on the cause of death.
