Authorities Investigating Suicide By Train Incident

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- One man is dead after being hit by a train Thursday morning in south Shawnee County.

Authorities say that a white male in is 30's put himself on the tracks in front of an oncoming BNSF train.

The incident happened south of 101st street and South Topeka Boulevard around 10:25 a.m.

Authorities say that the fatality is a suicide, but the death is still under investigation.
