TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A man charged with first degree murder in connection with a November murder at a South Topeka motel is being held on a $1 million bond.

Shawnee County Jail records show Andrew Redick was booked into the facility at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Maintenance workers found the body of 39-year-old Lena Keithley in a room at the Country Club Motel on November 15th. Authorities have not said how Keithley died.

Redick was arrested in May 2012 for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was paroled in March 2013, but returned to Ellsworth Correctional Facility in late November for a parole violation.
