TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Topeka Police were called to Lyndon State Bank Monday around 11:00 a.m. on a robbery call.
Police on scene later said the incident at 1535 SW Fairlawn was an attempted forgery.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, 5'8" tall with a thin build, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans with a bandana on his head.
Police said at 11:15 a.m. that the suspect was likely still on foot.
Police encourage anyone who might come into contact with the suspect to stay away and call police at 234-0007.
The same Lyndon State Bank location was robbed on February 6 and February 23, according to the Topeka Police Department.
