TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Some lucky residents at Aldersgate Village and Plaza West Regional Health Center received a loving surprise
for the holiday.

About 100 students who attend the after school program at Williams Science and Fine Arts Magnet Elementary showed their love, and creativity, as part of a community service project.

The students prepared songs, poems, and even made flowers for residents in the nursing homes.

The "F.E.A.T.S" after school program seeks to get kids moving, eating healthy, and experience different learning opportunities to increase their performance in the classroom.
