TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-A lucky Kansas native has a chance to spin the big wheel on national television.
Shannon Saville had her name picked out of thousands of people and made it through multiple rounds of auditions to appear on Wheel of Fortune. She is from Meriden, Kansas and a Jefferson West High School graduate. Since the show was pre-recorded in October, she has to keep a secret as to what she did on the show and if she won. If she does win money, she has a plan.
"Paying for school would be nice and I definitely have student loans at the moment. Since I recently got engaged, it would be nice to have money for a honeymoon, maybe have a prize puzzle for the honeymoon and have money for the wedding. Pat Sajack told me I was the first person in the 30 year history of the show to do something that I'm not allowed to say," she said.
Shannon will appear on Wheel of Fortune Wednesday, January 2nd at 6:30 pm. Her watch party is also Wednesday night at 6 at the Tanner's Bar and Grille in Platte City, Missouri.
