Lockhart Still Looking For Lawyer

Monroe Lockhart

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A former convenience store partner accused in a home invasion and assault still intends to hire a lawyer.

Monroe Lockhart was back in court Friday for another first appearance. The proceeding has been delayed four times due to Lockhart's representation issues.

He's been without an attorney since March, when Judge Mark Braun disqualified Billy Rork from the case for conflicts of interest.

Lockhart's first appearance was reset for Tuesday.
