TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A popular Topeka cafe is closing its doors.
The Blue Planet Cafe announced on their Facebook page Friday that they will be closing at the end of the month.
They say times are tough for small businesses and that they have had their fair share of challenges, but still ask that people support locally owned shops and restaurants.
The cafe opened in October of 2010 and features vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free options among others.
The cafe will permanently close it's doors on March 1.
M-F 5-8AM, Noon, 4PM, 5PM, 6PM & 10PM
