WICHITA, Kan. (CBS) -- Wichita Police say a 44-year-old man called 911 after he tried to buy meth, but never received the drug.
He told officers he responded to someone on a social media site to purchase the drug. He gave them the money, but never got the meth.
The call was made to 911 the second week of August. Eyewitness News now has the 911 audio. In it, dispatchers ask the man how the man was robbed.
"It was just supposed to be a friendly gesture for, you know, some good drugs and they just took off with it and never came back," the man told dispatchers.
The man was not arrested because he did not have any drugs. Police have not said whether the robbery suspect has been arrested.
