TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Young professionals could bend the ears of some more experienced counterparts Wednesday.
The Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce's "Fast Forward" group hosted a "Luncheon with Leaders" at Washburn University's Bradbury Thompson Center.
Fast Forward members could meet and network with local leaders, sharing thoughts on the job market, advancing in the corporate world and entrepreneurial opportunities.
13's Melissa Brunner was among the leaders invited. She and Greg Gathers of Custom Tree Care hosted a table where quite a bit of talk our centered on how technology keeps us connected in today's world. Other leaders at the event included USD 501 Board of Education President Patrick Woods and periodontist Dr. Julie Swift.
