Race Car Possible Culprit In Large Osage City Fire

OSAGE CITY, Kan. (WIBW)-- A race car could be to blame for a large blaze that destroyed a storage facility in Osage City.

According to the Osage City Police Dept., the car, owned by Teresa Wolf, ignited with a loud bang and fire filled the storage unit.

Officers responded to the fire inside a storage facility, near the intersection of 4th Street and Lord Street, shortly before 5:30 p.m.

The flames quickly spread throughout the facility and the building was damaged so badly that it had to be taken down completely.

Wolf refused medical attention and was not transported.
