TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Attorney General Derek Schmidt says Kansas and 25 other states have finished filing initial briefs in a case that questions the constitutionality of the federal health care law.
The final two briefs were filed yesterday and object to a mandate that everyone buy health insurance.
This is the first time a majority of the states have worked together in a suit challenging constitutionality of a federal law.
Oral arguments before the United States Supreme Court begin March 26.
