TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ The Chief Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court stopped in Lecompton Sunday to give a historic presentation.
The Honorable Lawton Nuss gave a presentation as part of the Bleeding Kansas 2014 series at Constitution Hall in Lecompton.
Nuss spoke about the early history of women's rights during a time when women couldn't hold an elected official position or vote.
The presentation "One Woman's Rights" reflected that of Miss Wright and the other women who broke the mold and paved the way for the future of other women in politics.
