Kansas Students ACT Scores Improve

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The percentage of Kansas High School Students who meet college readiness has increased for the 4th straight year according to the Kansas Department of Education.

75% of graduating Kansas seniors participated in the 2014 ACT compared to 57% nationally and 31% met college readiness goals in English, reading, math and science, an increase from 30% in 2013, well above the U.S. average of 26%.

72% of 2014 graduating Kansas seniors met the standards for English and 21.7% for math.
