MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas State University officials say they have modified future pre-game skits in the wake of a student's injury.

K-State Athletics Director John Currie made the announcement Friday, also stating they have reviewed the mascot and cheer practices.

Last Saturday, the student on the receiving end of the traditional Willie Wildcat tackle had his head slam against the turf and suffered an apparent seizure.

He was evaluated at Mercy Hospital and released that day.
