Kansas State Hosts 2014 Open House

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas State University welcomed thousands of visitors to its campus on Saturday for an Open House event featuring food, entertainment, and much more.

Prospective students maneuvered through campus visiting booths at various buildings to learn about the different majors K-State has to offer.

Staff members from each of K-State's 250 majors, 475 campus clubs, and nine colleges were on hand to share a variety of opportunities for incoming students.

The day also featured a selection of entertainment options for those in attendance, including live music outside of the student union and a rock climbing wall from the United States Army.

K-State offers a variety of education options, including-online and distance learning, 27 masters degrees, and nine bachelor completion programs.
