Kansas Program Revs Up Their Engines

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)_ A Kansas program helping children revved up their engines Saturday morning.

The Kansas Children's Service League (KCSL) hosted its 4th annual Kickstands for Kids Motorcycle Ride Saturday.

The event began at 10 Saturday morning at Heartland Park in Topeka. Riders rode through Scranton, Burlingame, Auburn and came back to the park around 1 p.m.

KCSL also collected school supplies at the event to help children suffering from abuse and for teens graduating high school.

Organizers say they hope to raise $5 to 7,000 at this event.
