Kansas Police Chief Placed On Administrative Leave, KBI Called In

KINGMAN, Kan. (KAKE) -- An investigation is underway after a Kansas police chief was placed on administrative leave.

Kingman Police Chief Marc Holloway was placed on administrative leave last Thursday, according to City Manager Frank Soukup.

Soukup said the issue is a 'personnel matter' and released no other details, but confirmed that the KBI has been asked to investigate.

Two Kingman police captains are taking over job duties while the investigation is underway.

Other information has not been released.
