WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A Kansas man with more than 50 prior felony convictions has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison for a series of recent crimes including burglary.
The Sedgwick County district attorney says 43-year-old Scott Reineke was sentenced Friday. He was convicted of 11 charges including burglary, theft, possession of stolen property and fleeing law enforcement.
Authorities say he was arrested in January after fleeing a routine traffic stop.
The county district court judge noted Reineke's criminal history during sentencing.
