TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas Expocentre officials are keeping an eye on the weekend forecast, the facility is hosting six graduations, with more than 30,000 people expected to walk through their doors.

Martin Weishaar with USD 437 told 13 News that they are prepared for numerous scenarios.

Right now, General Manager H.R. Cook says there are no plans to alter schedules, but emergency plans are in place.

"Our procedures are everybody in the upper level will come down to the lower level," said Cook. "Everybody near the doors on the concourse needs to come inside the arena and anybody on the floor, we'll evacuate those into our locker rooms and storage areas."
