The Kansas Department of Aging unveiled its new "Know Your Limits," public awareness campaign at the Statehouse.

The campaign will bring awareness to the issue of problem gambling in the sunflower state.

KDADS wants to assure everyone knows help is available, with no cost to Kansas residents.

In 2013, 118 individuals and their families sought out treatment for their gambling addiction.

"If research is indicative we know that probably more folks out there who are struggling and may just not know where to get help, so that's what we're here today to talk about how to get some help," Gina Meier-Hummel, KDADS Commissioner.

The fund created by the Kansas Expanded Lottery Act will help support billboards, 30 second PSA ads and radio spots for the, "Know Your Limits," campaign.
