TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A group of Kansas City residents is trying to force a vote on proposed changed to terminals at Kansas City International Airport.

The Kansas City Star reports a group calling itself "Friends of KCI" turned in 415 pages worth of signatures Tuesday.

The group questions the city's plan to possible replace the three-terminal configuration at KCI, with a single terminal.

The plan has a preliminary cost estimate of $1.2 billion.
