Juvenile Suspects Arrested After Armed Robbery

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) Two suspects are in police custody after an early morning armed robbery in Central Topeka.

Just after 1 a.m., officers responded to a report of several victims being robbed at gunpoint near 15th and Collins.

When police arrived, they located two juvenile suspects trying to get away on foot. They were apprehended near 12th and Oakley.

The suspects were taken to the law enforcement center for questioning.

A handgun and the victims' property were found on the two juveniles.

One of the victims was transported to a local hospital after being struck in the back of the head.

Three other victims were not injured.
