TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- An organization committed to promoting voluntarism and developing the potential of women, wants to pass that along to our area children.

The Junior League of Topeka presented the Kansas Children's Discovery Center with a $750.00 check.

President Stacie Borjon, says the Discovery Center has been a great asset to the community and the league proudly supports everything they do for area children, from summer camps to spring break events.

The Junior League also raises money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Ronald McDonald House, with its Merry Market and Girls Night Out events and their Diaper Depot project collects diapers for moms in need.
