Junction City Man Gets 5 Years For Child Porn

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Junction City man will spend more than five years behind bars for accessing child pornography with intent to view.

Forty-three year-old Scott Deppish was sentenced to 63 months in prison on Monday, according to U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom's office.

According to his plea deal, reached last April, investigators served a search warrant and seized his desktop computer and two hard drives. On them, they found images of prepubescent children engaged in sexual conduct,

They also found images of a victim, known as "Abby," that were taken in Idaho and depict a very young girl engaged in sexual conduct with a man.

Grissom commended Junction City Police Department, Homeland Security Investigation and Assistant U.S. Attorney Christine Kenney for their work on the case.
