JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (WIBW) - A new fire truck was put in service this week in Junction City.
Earlier this month a 2014 Rosenbauer apparatus was delivered to the department replacing a 1996 Freightliner truck.
The new engine is capable of pumping 1,500 gallons per minute and carries a full complement of vehicle extrication equipment.
A second Rosenbauer engine will replace the remaining 1998 unit and is expected to be placed in service early next year.
The Department is also expecting the arrival of a new Rosenbauer ladder truck later this fall.
