A cold front is moving through the area, bringing widespread rain as well as much cooler temperatures and lower humidity behind it. The main line is continuing to push east-southeast.
A jackknifed semi shutdown traffic on US-24 for over an hour Tuesday morning.
A representative of The Kansas Department of Transportation said all lanes of eastbound US-24 at Happy Hollow Road were closed after the Semi jackknifed across both lanes around 5:45 a.m.
The Kansas Highway Patrol, KDOT and the Shawnee County Sheriff's office assisted in clearing the accident
There were no reported injuries and all lanes were reopened by 7:25 a.m.
