TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- Interstate 470 is open after a two car accident closed it down for about an hour Wednesday morning.
Shawnee County Dispatch said the accident happened around 6:15 a.m. at the westbound ramp of I-470 near 29th and Fairlawn.
Officials tell 13 News a Ford Taurus was traveling on SW 29th street when he t-boned a Nissan Rogue that was heading northbound on 29th, attempting to get on the ramp.
The Rogue spun and flipped onto the drivers side. Firefighters had to extricate the driver from the automobile after it rolled.
Dispatch did not know the condition of either driver.
All lanes were reopened around 7:10 a.m.
