TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Future lawyers prepared for life after law school with a mock trial complete with judge and jury.
Washburn Law students put their trial skills to the test inside the Shawnee County Courthouse complete with 60 volunteer jurors.
It was the last step in Washburn Law's Intense Trial Advocacy Program which is a seven day program for Washburn Law students.
Participants gained skills in direct and cross examination, use of evidence, opening statements and closing arguments.
