TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- It has been 4 months since the murders of Topeka Police Officer Jeff Atherly and Corporal David Gogian and 13 News is still waiting for new information about the two women in the shooter's vehicle at the time of the incident.

When the shooting occurred in December, Chief Ron Miller told 13 News the officers were responding to a call of drug activity inside a suspicious vehicle when David Tiscareno got out of the backseat and shot the officers.

Miller says once K.B.I reports and coroner's reports are submitted, they will be sent to the DA's office for review.

"And one of the issues that has to be resolved by the investigative agency and the DA's office is what is the disposition of those 2 females that were at the scene," said Chief Ron Miller.

"What you will probably going to see is, you're going to see determinations brought to the public in sections," said District Attorney, Chad Taylor.

Miller said Wednesday they should have new information within the next few days.
