TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - An incident with a rape suspect closed a busy Topeka highway interchange early Monday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says a man spotted on the I-470/I-70 flyover around 6 am was a man Topeka Police considered person of interest in an earlier incident.
KHP says 26-year-old Dallas Pasley was considered a danger to himself and resisted arrest. The interchange was shut down while authorities took him into custody.
Pasley was booked into the Shawnee County Jail on a rape charge. Topeka Police say that due to the nature of the alleged incident, they aren't releasing any further details.
