TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A multi-vehicle wreck shut down eastbound I-70 Friday afternoon for approximately an hour. The highway, which was closed shortly after 12:30 p.m., was reopened less than an hour later.
Authorities were having drivers get off the Interstate at 8th Street and re-routing them through town before letting them get back on at 10th Street.
They said the incident happened shortly about 12:35 p.m. Friday afternoon and involved several vehicles. Tow trucks had started removing the vehicles by about 1:30 p.m.
