TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The public advisory issued on December 20, 2013 about a loose hybrid wolf has been lifted.
The hybrid wolf was spotted north of Osage City near highway 56. The public advisory was put out soon after to alert citizens of the possible danger.
The owner found the wolf on January 16.
The public is reminded by the Osage County Sheriff Department that hybrid wolves, along with certain other animals, are illegal in the county. To find out more information on what animals are legal, call the sheriff's office at 785-828-3121.
