TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Hundreds gathered on the south Capitol steps in opposition of a recent bill protecting religious rights to refuse service to same sex couples.

The Equality house and Planting Peace organizations held a public protest against the passing of the controversial house bill 2453 which protects religious groups and businesses that refuse service to same sex couples.

Attendees set up a series of poses to form an artistic rendering of the impact the bill would have.
