HOYT, Kan. (WIBW)-People from the Hoyt community are raising money to help save a little boy's life.

Logan Robert Snyder is 2-years old and has multiple health problems. He has spent more time in the hospital than at home.

Sunday, people from the Hoyt community gathered together for a day filled with activities to raise money and show support.

They had a breakfast, worship service, bake sale, silent auction, 5k trail/run and live auction. Auction items included a week's stay in Cancun, a wine tasting, a signed KU basketball and more.

The KU basketball sold for $500.

The events lasted from 6:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Logan Robert Snyder was born February 2011, 2 months early via emergency c-section to Laura and Casey Snyder. He was diagnosed with Intra-Uterine Growth Restriction, which means he did not grow properly in the womb and led to his premature birth and his multiple health problems. Logan is troubled with Cerebral Palsy, holes in the heart, brain hemorrhages, possible seizures, necrotizing enterocolitis, encephalomalacia, feeding intolerance, kidney reflux, underdeveloped nerves, cholestatic jaundice, cortical visual impairment, pneumonia, enterovirus, hydorcephalus, ileus and auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder.
