CBS Even President Obama is interested in what Francis Underwood is up to these days, but he doesn't want any spoilers.

All 13 episodes from the second season of "House of Cards" made their way onto Netflix Friday, Valentine's Day, and it seems the real-life commander-in-chief may be one of many viewers tuning in to the series this President's Day weekend.

On Thursday, in anticipation of the premiere, this message was posted on Mr. Obama's official Twitter page:

It may come as a surprise that the president is a fan of "House of Cards," given its dark take on Washington's elite.

Two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey portrays Underwood, a ruthless Democratic congressman who (ahem, spoiler alert) killed one of his supposed allies in the first season.

During a meeting with tech giant CEOs in December, Mr. Obama jokingly asked Netflix CEO Reed Hastings if he could have advanced copies of new "House of Cards" episodes. Hastings replied by asking Mr. Obama if he would like to cameo on the series. The president didn't respond.

But Mr. Obama did add that he wished, in real life, "things were that ruthlessly efficient" as they're depicted in the series.

At the beginning of the second season, Underwood finds himself being sworn in as the new vice president of the United States, before being met with a major scandal that could destroy his career, and possibly everyone around him.

Watch the video above to see Spacey and his co-star Robin Wright (who won a Golden Globe for her performance in the first season) discuss their pride in having a hit on Netflix.
