Homeless Man Charged With Attempted Murder

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW-TV) A homeless man suspected of attempted murder is in jail.

Officials said William Bryant Jr. 25, was arrested after a disturbance with several people early Thursday.

The incident happened around 5 a.m. 800 block of Polk. Bryant was taken into custody a few blocks away near 10th and Clay.

Bryant has been charged with attempted second degree murder, aggravated battery and making criminal threats.
