TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The hard work and studying paid off for students at Capital City School.
Highland Park High School basketball seniors returned to the school Wednesday to take on staff members in a friendly scrimmage.
The players visited the students prior to assessments to encourage them to do their best and promised to return after the tests were finished.
Players say they had just as much fun today as the kids did.
"It's been a lot of fun when you get to do what you love," said Oshai Clark, Highland Park basketball player. "Basketball is fun, school can be fun. Life is what you make it."
While staff members played, students got to eat pizza and enter for the chance to win prizes.
