Hearing Held For New Year's Homicide Suspect

WESTMORELAND, Kan. (WIBW) The suspect in a New Year’s Day homicide made his first appearance in court Tuesday.

Pablo Gonzalez, 21, appeared before the Pottawatomie County District Court for connections with the death of 24 year-old Levi Bishop of Rossville.

Bishop was a passenger in a vehicle with Gonzalez and was found deceased inside the vehicle from a gunshot wound, at about 4:43 a.m. New Year’s Day

A preliminary hearing for Gonzalez has been set for January 17th. He remains in jail on a one million dollar bond.
