HHHS Hosts Ribbon Cutting And Open House

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Topekans, along with our four-legged friends, gathered Saturday to celebrate a Grand Opening.

The Helping Hands Humane Society off of 21st and Wanamaker celebrated its new shelter Saturday afternoon.

They had a ribbon cutting ceremony and an open house for the public.

Pet lovers had the chance to walk through the halls of the new facility and look at kittens and puppies.

Helping Hands Humane Society provides a sanctuary for lost pets, protection from abuse and one of their goals is to find homes for all the pets.
