Governor Brownback Appoints A New Chief Counsel

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Governor Sam Brownback has announced a new Chief Counsel.

Brownback announced he's appointed Brant Laue to the position. He will join the administration staff November 4th.

Laue is from hanover and is a 1986 graduate of Cornell Law School. He is currently a partner with Armstrong Teasdale LLP in Kansas City.

He'll succeed Caleb Stegall, who was appointed to a seat on the Kansas Court of Appeals.
