Golden Corral Serves Up Free Meals For Those Who Served

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A local restaurant was thanking veterans for all they do with a free meal.

Golden Corral hosted their 11th annual thank you dinner Monday night. Last year, the restaurant chain provided more than 375,000 free meals honoring veterans and active duty military. Topeka's Wanamaker Road location had dozens of people lined up for the offer.

Golden Corral and its guests also raise money for the Disabled American Veterans organization. To date, they have contributed more than $6 million.
