Other than a few light rain showers or drizzle skies will gradually clear out this evening with clear skies expected for much of the night.
Friday will be a dry day before a slow moving storm system will bring additional rounds of showers and storms to Kansas this weekend.
Another round of Severe Weather is likely this weekend. Computer models are indicating a potential for rotating storms on Saturday evening and Sunday. There will be a Tornado Risk this weekend for much of the Midwest and that very well may include Northeast Kansas. The disturbance that is giving us the storm chances will continue to pinwheel across the Midwest for most of the work week giving northeast Kansas a slight chance of on and off rain showers although nothing heavy or severe weather is expected.
Please keep a close eye on the forecast the next few days. The weather pattern may become very active.
