TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- The last day of Topeka's Lawn and Garden show brought a record number of people!
Thousands gathered inside the Expocentre for the Topeka Lawn and Garden show. From plants to outdoor equipment, attendees enjoyed the spring like sights and smells from inside the building.
Leland Heifner, the show's organizer, says this year's event has brought in a record number of people compared to year's past.
"Very successful," he says," the past 2 days we have had 7 or 8,000 people and after Sunday, we will probably have 12,000 people for the weekend."
The event ended at 5pm Sunday and Heifner says the event will be even bigger and better next year!
