TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Swimmers looking to beat the heat on Friday were driven from Gage Park pool on Friday.
Park officials were forced to close the Blaisdell Family Aquatic Center for the afternoon due to what was described as "water contamination." Reports indicated someone had diarrhea in the pool.
They hope to have pool open tomorrow after contamination but must monitor chemical levels due to CDC guidelines
