Funeral Services Set For Westmoreland Soldier Killed Supporting Operation Enduring Freedom

WAMEGO, Kan. (WIBW) - Funeral services are set for a Westmoreland soldier who died on Sunday supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

35-year-old Army Sergeant First Class Forrest Robertson was killed in Logar Province, Afghanistan when his patrol was hit by small arms fire.

Robertson will lie in-state after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November, 13 at the Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14 at Trinity Baptist Church in Wamego.
