Funeral Services Set For Topeka's 16th Homicide Victim

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Funeral services are set for Topeka's 16th homicide victim of this year.

Oma "Shannon" Bennett, 43, was stabbed to death December 19 at her home in the 2100 block of SE Pioneer Way.

Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel on SW 10th Avenue.

Educational contributions are pending for her daughter Cheyenne.

Police arrested 23-year-old Troy Allen Robinson in connection with the murder. His next court date is set for January 10.
