Funeral Services Set For Marshall Co. Deputy

Funeral services are set for a Marshall County Sheriff's deputy.

46-year-old Brian Kenworthy died Thursday, March 20, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City.

A visitation will be held from 10 am to 9 pm Thursday, March 27, at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm.

Funeral services are 10:30 am Friday, March 28th, at the Blue Rapids Gymnasium in Blue Rapids.

Kenworthy began working in 1993 as a reserve officer for the Marysville Police Department. He also was an officer for Blue Rapids before becoming a deputy for the Marshall County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of Kansas Narcotics Officer Assn., Kansas Gang Investigator Assn. and Kansas Sheriffs Assn.

Memorial contributions can be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville.
