TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Three suspects were arrested Friday morning after a driver led police on a high speed chase through Topeka.
An officer attempted to stop a vehicle around 1 a.m. for traffic violations when the driver sped off.
Authorities believe the vehicle was stolen from the town of Lebo.
Topeka Police Officers pursued the vehicle throughout the city, beginning at 12th & Washington, South toward 29th street and back up Indiana through the Eastborough Neighborhood.
The driver eventually stopped at an intersection and took off on foot. He was apprehended by officers.
Officers say narcotics and stolen items were found in the vehicle. There were also 2 women riding in the car. They were taken in for questioning.
