Four Men Arrested In String Of Armed Robberies

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Four Topeka men face federal charges in a string of armed robberies.

Johnnie McCall, Jordan Lucas, Alonzo Lax, and David Wigfall are all charged with commercial robbery and brandishing a firearm during the robberies.

McCall and Lucas allegedly robbed the Dollar General Store on Fairlawn on February 12th.

Authorities say Lax joined them in robbing the Baskin Robbins on 21st street on the 27th.

And Friday, they say McCall, Lax, and Wigfall held up the Little Caesars on Southwest 6th.

If convicted the men face sentences up to life in prison, plus fines.
